DMCA & Takedown Policy
Outlanders Hub respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects visitors to do the same. This page explains how to send a copyright takedown notice and how we handle it. If you believe content on this site infringes your rights, please contact us and we will act promptly.
Our approach
We are a small fan guide. We write our own text, and any game names, logos, characters, or assets that appear are used for identification, information, and commentary. We do not host or distribute game software. Even so, if we have published something that infringes your rights, we want to fix it quickly.
How to send a takedown notice
If you are a rights holder (or authorised to act for one), send us a written notice by email. To help us act quickly, please include all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work. Describe the work you believe is protected — for example its title, a short description, or a link to the original.
- Identification of the infringing material. Give the exact URL or URLs on this site where the material appears, with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your contact information. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address so that we can reach you.
- Good-faith statement. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement under penalty of perjury. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf, made under penalty of perjury.
- Your signature. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or of a person authorised to act on their behalf.
Where to send it
Send your notice to dmca [at] outlanders.fun. In that address, replace the bracketed " [at] " with the standard @ symbol to form a normal email address. This placeholder format is used to reduce automated spam, not to make legitimate notices harder to send.
What happens next
- We aim to review valid notices promptly and, where appropriate, to remove or modify the identified material.
- Because this is a small volunteer project, please allow a reasonable amount of time for a response — but we will not ignore a genuine notice.
- If your notice is incomplete, we may reply asking for the missing information before we can act.
Counter-notices
If you believe material was removed in error, you may send us a counter-notice with the same contact details, an identification of the removed material, and a statement explaining why you believe the removal was a mistake. We will review it in good faith.
Repeat infringement
We do not knowingly publish infringing content. Where a valid takedown is received, we will remove the material and take reasonable steps to prevent the same material from being republished on this site.
